Scared . . .

Sometimes we feel scared. But we don’t want to be.

Sometimes we feel tired. But we don’t want to be.

Sometimes we feel hopeless. But we don’t want to be.

A boy once asked the heavens, “Why don’t you send me gifts to help me improve my life?”

. . . and the heavens respond, “I sent you fear, suffering and despair.”

The boy sat there confused.

What was he supposed to do with fear, suffering and despair?
